High Scores & Leaping Levels

At least twice a month, I assess students on their progress towards their IEP goals.  When students get a personal high score on any assessment, they earn a star sticker to put on their progress star.  They are also able to pick a treat (a snack size candy).

When students reach their IEP goal or higher three times in a row, they have leaped a level.  Leaping a level is a really big deal, because it takes awhile to do it.  Students received a Leveled Up sticker for their star, a certificate to show off to their teacher and parents, and a regular size candy bar of their choice.

At parent conference time, I will show you graphs of how students are doing on meeting their IEP goals.  You will be able to see their high scores and if/when they have passed off a goal.  Please bring your student with you to conferences, so we can celebrate their hard work!
